European Football Leagues Returning to beIN SPORTS this August

August is a huge month for football on beIN SPORTS as the top European leagues return for another season. The EFL Championship is also set to return this week, with the Carabao Cup to follow.

  • Ligue 1 2021/22 – Round 1 commences 7 August

Lille starts the defence of its Ligue 1 title at Metz and Paris Saint-Germain are away to newly-promoted Troyes in its first game of the 2021-2022 season. The opening round will also include the Mediterranean derby between Montpellier Hérault SC and Olympique de Marseille.

  • Bundesliga 2021/22 – Round 1 commences 14 August

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich will start their title defence at Borussia Monchengladbach in the opening match of the 2021-22 season.

  • LaLiga 2021/22 – Round 1 commences 14 August

Defending champions Atlético Madrid will open their season against Celta Vigo, while powerhouse club Real Madrid will kick-off their season against Deportivo Alavés.

  • EFL Championship 2021/22 – Kicks off from 7 August

The opening weekend of the 2021-22 Championship season will see newly-relegated West Bromwich Albion travel to the south coast to face Bournemouth, while Fulham host Middlesbrough.

  • Carabao Cup 2021/22 – Kicks off from 11 August

Wayne Rooney’s Derby County will come face-to-face with the Class of 92-owned Salford City in one of the standout ties in first round.
